BIOGRAPHY

Attorney Nichóle B. Greene, is a native of Shelby, North Carolina. She began her undergraduate career at Cleveland Community College in Shelby, North Carolina where she graduated with High Honors and obtained an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. Attorney Greene proceeded to Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina where she graduated summa cum laude and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Social Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice. While completing her undergraduate studies, Attorney Greene was inducted into the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

Attorney Greene remained a student leader and activist while attending North Carolina Central University School of Law, one of the top five most in demand law schools in the nation during 1993-94 according to the American Bar Association publication American Jurist. While in law school, she served as the Vice President of the Student Body during 2005-06 in addition to serving as Vice President for her graduating class during 2004-05. In addition, Ms. Greene served as a member of the International Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, Turner Inn, where she served as the Magister during the years of 2004-06. She was a member of the Law Journal and was honored by being selected to participate in the law school’s advanced Trial Advocacy Team, a team that consistently finished top ten in the nation in national trial advocacy competitions.

Attorney Greene was the recipient of the Floyd McKissick Award for Leadership and Scholarship, an award presented by the American Bar Institute to a student who demonstrates a strong sense of leadership and public service to the law school and community. In addition, she received the prestigious honor as being named the 2006 International Graduate of the Year award by the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi, an award presented to one graduate student each year from law schools situated throughout North America, Canada, Latin America, Mexico and Europe (member under name of Nichóle B. Feaster). In her final year at North Carolina Central University School of Law, Attorney Greene was also employed with the United States Attorneys’ Office, Eastern District of North Carolina and she performed an externship with the Durham County Public Defender’s Office.

Upon graduation and becoming licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina, Attorney Greene accepted a position with Flowers, Martin, Moore & Ditz, P.A. in Shelby, North Carolina where she focused primarily in criminal and domestic law. After an extensive period of practice with this firm, she left this firm to open the Greene Law Offices, PLLC (formerly Law Office of Nichóle B. Greene, PLLC).

Today, Attorney Greene is a member of the Cleveland County Bar Association. She previously held the positions of President from 2008-2010, Vice-President from 2007-08 and the Secretary from 2006-07 for the Cleveland County Bar Association. Attorney Greene has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Abuse Prevention Counsel in Shelby, North Carolina and a previous member of the North Carolina Bar Association and North Carolina Advocates for Justice and Academy of Trial Lawyers of America. 

Attorney Greene has represented defendants charged with misdemeanors and felonies, juvenile offenders, and domestic violence victims.
